Wine events: always fun!

Wine events are a treat for every winelover. A nice wine, good food, great atmosphere…a great way to take five or a clever way to try a lot of different wine styles in a short period of time. Maybe you’ll discover your favourite style this way?
As soon as I notice interesting wine events I’ll post them on my blog.

MARCH 2019
(22 – 24 march 2019) Amsterdam Winefestival
(theme: southern hemisphere)
Location: Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam

For the 3rd time the Amsterdam Winefestival in de Westergasfabriek will be held. Central theme: de harvest festivities of the southern hemisphere where you’ll meet wines from Australia, South-Africa,Argentina and New-Sealand. You can choose from almost 300 wines! There are also delicious snacks and various DJs and bands will perform. More info on the website.


May 2019
(30 may – 2 june 2019) Rypp wijnfestival
Location: Het Park (near the Euromast), Rotterdam

This year there is time to enjoy wine in Rotterdam again. There is of course a huge choice of wines. A number of chefs from Rotterdam provide delicious dishes. You can also take the opportunity to dance. More info on the  website  


JUNE 2019
(7 – 9 june 2019) Bacchus wijnfestival
Location: Amsterdamse bos, Amsterdam

Bacchus is a well organised festival in green surroundings of a park. There are a lot of qualitywines, nice food and music. More info on the website.


(15 / 18 august 2019) Kannen & Kruiken festival
Location: Burgemeester Brouwer plantsoen, Amersfoort

A combined wine-beer festival with a lot of stand of local breweries and wine merchants. Of course you also can enjoy the great food and music.

(27 / 29 september 2019) Nederlandse wijnfeesten/ Dutch Wine festivities
Location: wijndorp Groesbeek, Gelderland

A wine festival in my backyard? Yes really!!! How nice. There will be an international winemarket, wine workshops and the local vinyards are open for public.
If you are sportive you can join the winebarral-rolling championship. 😉
